6/8/2023 0 Comments The King's Men by Nora Sakavic![]() I love that, while what's really relevant was tied up by the end, not everything suddenly works out at the same time because the author has to give everyone a happy ending and there's only 30 pages of plot left. All For the Game wouldn't still have a fanbase 10 years later if it weren't for them. The characters, as always, are the stars. When you draw a line of the plot points through the series it's impressive how much of it is just in this last book. ![]() ![]() SO MUCH happens and you only really notice when you get to the end and look back at it. The breathing space between them seems like a post-canon fanfic. The King's Men is so different from what we usually get from finales that sometimes you have to recalibrate your expectations. I enjoy this series so much it's hard to even write a review. ![]() "Fight because you don't know how to die quietly. ![]()
