To enjoy this journey and to be part of it, you must read this book. And thus started a very interesting journey, in the midst of nature, with totally amazing curriculum, and equally amazing friends, under the leadership of extremely friendly headmaster. But her mother realized that Totto-chan needs a different learning environment, which will allow her freedom of expressions, her curiosity. She was getting expelled from conventional public schools for having mere child-centered characteristics, such as being curious, expressive, etc and she was not understanding what is her fault, though actually there was none. But if one had seen her initial couple of years in school days, the person would have imagined her future in very different perspective. Tetsuko Kuroyanagi (Totto-chan) is a Japanese television personality and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and is successful in her life.
